We have performed new updates and improvements of Consultation Portal (CP) in order to prepare for the coming regulative by European Union, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our portal ensures that patient's personal data is not demanded in order to provide advice.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union. The GDPR aims primarily to give control back to citizens and residents over their personal data and to simplify the regulatory environment for international business by unifying the regulation within the EU. It was adopted on April 27, 2016 and becomes enforceable from May 25, 2018.
New updates of the Consultation Services Portal include anonimization of requests as certain entries for personal data are omitted, and have included an extra option regarding patient's consent on posting the requests for advice.
The online portal leads the user easily through important questions, allows data entry and upload of supplementary files. The interdisciplinary advisory team provides written advice within 24 hours (currently the portal is in English and German language, but requests can also be submitted in other languages).
