Workshop on Infections after Fracture Fixation (IFF) in January 2018 in Berlin was a great success! The main aim of the Workshop on IFF is to provide an up-to-date information and a practical approach to manage infections after fracture fixation.
Emphasis was put on interdisciplinary teamwork, open discussions and practical advice for the daily clinical work. Case discussions and interactive lectures were specially designed to interact and share experience between speakers and participants.
We have asked the participants of the IFF Workshop to share their opinion on the Workshop with us, and here are some of the obtained results:
Figure 1 AVERAGE SCORE PER QUESTION (4-Very Good, 1-Poor)
Figure 2 Percentage specific answer per question
We are very pleased that most of the participants found the quality of the training material and papers very informative and were content with the obtained knowledge. Another good point was the mix of theory, discussion and workshop, also together with the opinion about the choice of topics.
Among open questions, the most outstanding answers that drive us to continue and improve our work are the reasons for further recommendation:
- »You are the best team in the field«
- »Multidisciplinary approach«
- »Good overview«
- »Clear and significant recommendations, very acute/ongoing topic in many medical field«
- »New information about treatment of infections, relevant to everyday work«
We are looking forward to our next event later this year!
