Borens Olivier A4984Prof. Olivier Borens will be one of main guest speakers during the upcoming Workshop on PJI in March 13-14, 2017. He will perform the hands-on session on mixing antimicrobial-loaded bone cement and give a talk on Septic Arthritis.

Prof. Olivier Borens is Head of the Department of Septic Surgery and Head of the Orthopaedic-Trauma Unit of the Department for the Musculoskeletal System of the University Hospital in Lausanne (Switzerland). Olivier Borens is intensely involved in scientific activities and regularly invited to present at national and international conferences. His research focuses, among others, on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of periprosthetic infections, biofilm, local antibiotics and minimally invasive techniques in traumatology.
